An in-depth discipleship course for all adults.
Why – To deepen our understanding of Christian life and our relationships with God and one another; to equip us to serve as lay leaders within the church; to strengthen our biblical literacy.
This fall our discipleship series is called “Seen and Unseen.” Together we will explore the biblical record on the wider realm of spiritual forces at work in the world. What does the Bible tell us about angels and demons, powers and principalities, about rulers of the world, about heaven and hell? How much of our perception of any of these, including Satan, is actually drawn from scripture instead of from popular, often cartoonish ideas portrayed in movies, on television, and even in our pulpits? Who really causes the problems we face in life — the devil or ourselves through our own sin and rebellion? And, most critically, how, as everyday Christians, do we practically live, work, serve, and grow more like Jesus in a world full of “spiritual forces… in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12)?
As a reminder, each session will run from 7.00 – 8.00 p.m. on Tuesdays between September 23 and November 18, 2025.
